I want to know. When choosing an attorney it is important to do your homework, but how? You could randomly start calling out of the phone book or a friend has heard of someone. Phil is a good thoughtful lawyer, but can be difficult. I used him many years ago to resolved a few difficult contract issues. He was responsive, even will call you on the weekends. He writes good contracts in a language that most people can understand . I would recommend him to anyone who needs an agreement that both parties want to get done. If there is possibility you’re going to be clashing with other party, make sure Phil is a match for your personality type. Phil is a lover, not so much a fighter, but his firm has people that are more aggressive and he will recommend someone else if needed. My complaint is the number of follow up calls he makes looking for new business. At points he can be too pushy and need to respect a busy work schedule. That should not stop you from using Phil, but in my case it pushed me to look elsewhere. This is why I gave Phil 4 stars instead of 5.
